八年级上学期英语教学总结

时间如白驹过隙,眨眼间两个月就过去了。在这个学期,我担任了八年级的英语教学工作。根据本学期教学工作计划安排,目前教学工作一将要结束。为了在以后的教学工作中能更好地发挥自己的能力,现将本学期英语教学工作总结如下,以方便找出一些经验教训及改进办法。
一、学生的基本情况
由于这个班级的学生来源不同,有些学生在小学就已经接触过英语,有些初一才开始,所以对于英语教学的接受程度很不一致。但有一个共同点:除了两个曾在珠三角读过小学的学生外,其他在当地或附近农村小学升上初一的学生英语基础都极为薄弱。这就要求教师在进行英语教学时要一边抓基础一边按教学进度进行教学。英语基础包括重新学习音标、复数、人称、介词等。例如音标的学习,本学期我就学生单词难以记住这一问题,重新教学生读、记及运用英语音标。由于音标的教学是在第二周才开始,学生在第一周的英语学习,包括单词记忆中体会到没有掌握单词拼读能力带来的困难,于是就会比较积极主动地学习音标。部分成绩较好、对英语学习非常积极的女生甚至主动提供意见如何学习才能更有效果。所以,要想教学顺利进行,了解学生学习情况是非常有必要的。
二、采取的教学措施
1、认真备课。教学中,备课是一个必不可少的环节,既要备学生,又要备教法。备课不充分或者备得不好,会严重影响课堂气氛和积极性,我明白到备课的重要性,因此,每天我都花费大量的时间在备课之上,认认真真钻研教材和教法,不满意就不收工。虽然辛苦,但事实证明是值得的。
2、教学过程中,注意抓常规教学,以学生为主体,面向全体学生组织教学,注意培养学生的听说读写的能力,充分利用早读时间,要求学生大声朗读课文。
3、抓基础,如上所提到。
4、结合实物、图片等用英语进行简单的描述,培养学生的语言表达能力。5、抓课堂作业、单元测试过关,并注重复习。
三、建立融洽的师生关系由于刚毕业不久,刚开始时我多少有点把学生当做什么都不懂的小孩子来看待,学生做错事我就以长辈那种权威的语气教训学生,导致个别男生对我的教育有抵触情绪。幸好我很快就意识到,初一学生的独立性开始已经逐渐增强,自尊心也在渐增,他们渴望得到尊重。于是我就立即改变策略,以平等、友好的姿态和学生交流,师生矛盾才没有激发,反而和学生关系日渐亲密,成为无话不谈的朋友,学生在课堂上违反纪律的现象也得到改善。
由此我认识到,师生之间只有互相尊重,互相信任,才能建立起友好关系,从而促进学生学习的兴趣。所以必须树立正确的学生观,正确认识学生的主体地位。所以,上课时我是学生的老师,循循善诱和激发学生学习的积极性,大胆求异创新;课后我却成为他们的好朋友,无话不谈,亮起心灵之光;生活上,给予他们最及时的帮助,关怀备至。
