一、教学内容分析

本节课学习的内容是Unit6ICanJump,主要人物是学生们在之前的学习中已经熟悉的五位动物朋友(Andy,Amy,Bobby,KotoandMr.Leo)。主要内容是这些动物都会做什么。学生要学会以下几点:

1.对已学各种动物的名称加以巩固,如:2.学会这些动物的典型动作:swing,run,walk,jump3.掌握句型:“…isa/an…”,“Ican…”二、教学目标

1、语言知识:

a.能正确辩读以下词汇:amonkey,arabbit,anelephant,akangaroo,alion.

b.能正确理解以上词汇的含义,并模仿出各种动物的经典动作,如swing,run,walk,jump等,以及掌握以下句型的含义“Andyisamonkey.Andycanswing.”和“Ican…”.

2、语言技能:对本课单词和句子能正确发音,能上口;能将动物图片和单词正确地连线。

3、情感态度:在教学中运用全身反应法,使学生在轻松活跃的课堂气氛中增强学习英语的兴趣和参与热情,逐步养成良好的学习习惯。培养学生观察事物、用英语描绘事物的能力。三、教学媒体

Activity1:Who’scomingtothesportsmeeting?

1.Showthechildrenapictureofaforest,andputitontheblackboard.Tellthechildrenthatthereisasportsmeetingintheforesttoday,andsomeoftheanimalsarecomingtothemeeting.Askthechildrentoguesswhoarecoming.

2.Letthechildrenguesstheanimalnamesfreely.Oncetheysayoutanyoftheanimals’names,stickamonkey’spictureontheblackboard.

3.Stickthepicturesofmonkey,elephant,rabbit,kangarooandlionontheblackboardandputtheminarow,tellingthechildrenthattheseanimalsaregoingtohavearace.Saytheanimalnamesandaskthechildrentorepeat.Activity2:Let’sjointherace!

1.Numbertheanimalsontheblackboardfrom1to5.Checkthechildren’sunderstandingbysayingtheanimalsandaskthechildrentosaythenumbersloudly,andthenchange,i.e.Isaythenumbersandthechildrenshouttheanimals.2.Drawstraightlinesontheblackboardrepresentingtherunningtracesandtellthechildrenthattheanimalsaregoingtotaketheracethere.

3.TellthechildrenthatI’mgoingtoaskthemtojoinintherace.ThereareMonkeyTeam,RabbitTeam,ElephantTeam,KangarooTeam,andLionTeam.Theycangetenrolledinthefouranimalgroupsvoluntarily.

4.Askthechildrentojoininthematchbysaying,“WhowantstobeintheMonkeyTeam?Standup,please.”Dividethemintofivegroups.Activity3:Let’sChant.(Page43ofthecoursebook)

1.Tellthechildrenthatinmatchespeoplewillshout“Go!Go!Go!”toencouragetheirteammates,thenaskthechildrentopracticeitseveraltimes.

2.Pointtodifferentpicturesoftheanimalsontheblackboardandaskthewholeclasstosaytheirnamesandthecorrespondingteamwillthenresponsequickly“Go!Go!Go!”

3.Playthetaperecorder,askthechildrentolistencarefullyandletthemfollowtherecordertosaythewholechantseveraltimes.Whilechanting,theyarerequiredtoclaptheirhandsloudlyaccordingtotherhythm.Activity4:Let’sSing.(Page44ofthecoursebook)

1.TellthechildrenthatAndyandhisthreefriendshavewonthesportsmeetingandafterwinningthegame,theyputupatalentshowfortherestanimalsintheforest.ThenplaytheKingsunSoftwareandaskthemtolistenandwatchcarefully.2.Playthesoftwareonceagain.Andthistimeinvolvethechildrentosingthesongwithactions:askthemtostandup,andthenimitateAndy,Amy,BobbyandKoto’sactionswhensingingthesong.

3.Askthechildrentotrytosingthesongwiththeaidinglinesonthescreenandtheaccompanyingmusic.Stressthetargetverbs:swing,run,walk,jumpbydoingtheactionwiththesongmusic.

4.Concludetheclassbysingingthesong“AndyCanSwing”withactiontogetherandassignhomework:singthesongtotheirparentsandfamilymembers.
