  Good morning,dear judges, I’m No.4 can-didate.I’m so glad to stand here to show my teaching design.and my topic is “my pro-blems”,now let’s begin.

  Good morning/afternoonn, boys and girl-s,How are you today? Great? Fine? Nice? Me? I’m fine too, thank you for your asking. You know I got a message from my friend ,Mary, she told me she met so-me problems, I want to give her some help, but I don’t know how to. may-be you can help me.

  Here I will show you some pictures on the PPT, maybe you can guess what are the problems. Nick, you please. oh, you think she feel bad in her school.Er, maybe.

  Let’s listen to the tape for the first time, then you can find out the main idea.ok stop here. James, you please. Wow.she is stressed out because of her Puton-ghua. Nice, let’s listen to it again,this time please think about the following questions.

  1. Where is the author’s school?

  2. Why does the author feel stressed? 

  3. How does the author feel about the host family?

  Well, I hope you're enjoying my school in New York. I like your school in Beijing, but I am not feeling very well at the moment. I'm tired and have a lot of headaches. And I'm stressed out because my Putonghua isn't improving. I study late every night, sometimes until 2 am, but I don’t think I’m improving. I really need some conversation practice! I think I have a cold, too. Oh, dear! But my host family is really nice.

  Ok, do you understand the story?Yeah! Well, do you have answers?

  The first question, now who can answe-r the questions in volunteer? oh, Lily

  A:Yes,very good. the author’s school is in New York.

  The second question, who want to try? Tom, please.   

  A:Very good! The author feels stressed out because Putonghua isn't improving.

  The third question, Can you find the answer? Ok, Susan.

  Yes, perfect. Thank you very much. The authour’s host family is really nice.Ok, boys and girls, you are perfect. now let’s go on. I’ll give you one minute to look through the listening task, and find any difficult words.

  Now, boys and girls, please exchange your difficult words with each other, and at last I’ll clarify the meaning of the words.

  In fact, all of us may meet some prob-lems in our school life, so can you discuss what will you do if you meet some pro-blems in the school?   How time flies, who can tell us what we have learned today? Dean, please, ye-s,sit down, we have learned some problems from Mary .and we also learned how to listen to some materials, please re-member, ask for help when you are in trouble,
